About the role#
Baylor University is hiring students to join the Appreciation Night Thank You Crew. This role supports the annual event for faculty, staff, and their families. You will help with greeting guests, managing activities, and providing general event support. Volunteers receive a t-shirt and a meal from local food trucks.
What you'll do#
- Provide on-site support, including event set-up, clean-up, and registration.
- Assist with planning and coordinating event logistics.
- Deliver customer service to guests and answer inquiries.
- Help with various hospitality tasks as needed.
- Comply with university policies and maintain punctual attendance.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving light weight, such as supplies or materials up to 15 lbs.
- Students from Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, Marketing, or Public Health majors are encouraged to apply.
Location & details#
- Location: Touchdown Alley and McLane Stadium, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Date: October 10, 2026.
- Shift options: 2:00pm to 5:00pm, 4:00pm to 8:00pm, or 7:00pm to 10:00pm.
- Pay: $13 per hour.
