About the role#
This position supports The Store, the campus food pantry at Baylor University. You will help with daily operations to ensure students have access to food and supplies. This role requires a minimum of 10 hours per week and is open to students in Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Nutrition, Public Health, and Communications.
What you'll do#
- Welcome students to The Store and assist them in a friendly, respectful manner.
- Stock shelves, refrigerators, and freezers to keep the shopping area organized.
- Receive, sort, and track food donations and deliveries.
- Enter data, handle check-in procedures, and monitor inventory levels.
- Support volunteer groups during service projects and donation drives.
- Assist with campus outreach events like the Baylor Free Farmers Market.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the pantry.
What you'll need#
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Reliability in maintaining regular and punctual attendance.
- Capacity to follow all University policies.
- Skill in monitoring inventory and identifying when supplies need replenishing.

- Terms: Fall 2026 and Fall 2027.
