About the role#
The Office of General Counsel at Baylor University is hiring a law student to provide administrative and legal support. This position offers exposure to legal operations within a professional office environment. You will have time for schoolwork during slower periods while ensuring department needs are met.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist visitors to the office.
- Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to general inquiries.
- Support attorneys and staff with legal research projects or special assignments.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
- Work 15-18 hours per week.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a law student in good academic standing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- This is an on-site position located at Pat Neff, Room 213, in Waco, Texas.
- The role is paid at $11.00 per hour.
- This is a part-time position with an ongoing term.
