About the role#
As a Campaign Fundraising Manager for the Student Visionaries of the Year program, you will build relationships with volunteers and lead peer-to-peer fundraising efforts. You will work within a local market to meet revenue goals while advancing the mission of Blood Cancer United. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Drive peer-to-peer fundraising to reach revenue targets.
- Recruit and cultivate fundraising volunteers and committees.
- Partner with the Education, Services, and Health Research department to share the organization's mission and programs.
- Organize local donor cultivation events and identify high-impact donors for national stewardship.
- Collaborate with local teams and national partners to execute strategic fundraising plans.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to supervise groups of volunteers.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Experience using digital tools, social media, and online channels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Location: Washington, DC.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Travel: Required within the designated area.
- Schedule: Must be able to work some evenings or weekends.
- Physical requirements: Ability to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
