    About the role#

    This Engineering Co-op position offers students interested in production management the chance to apply classroom knowledge in a plant processing environment. You will work on-site at our Camrose facility, gaining hands-on experience by collaborating with various functional areas including maintenance, operations, and engineering.

    What you'll do#

    • Gain an understanding of plant processes, equipment, and reliability principles.
    • Work on projects related to process improvements, efficiency, and contractor management.
    • Communicate with a diverse group of people across various educational and experience levels.
    • Interpret and implement government safety and environmental regulations alongside company policies.
    • Manage people, processes, and product inputs to develop and implement solutions.
    • Engage in physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting objects weighing between 10 and 50 pounds.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
    • Ability to complete an 8-month co-op starting in January or May 2027.
    • Legal entitlement to work for Cargill in Canada.
    • High degree of initiative and resourcefulness when working with limited guidance.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

    • Location: Camrose, Alberta, Canada.
    • Term: 8 months (Summer 2027 start).
    • Status: Paid, full-time, on-site role.
