About the role#
As an Agronomy Sales Intern, you will work directly with our customers and the agronomy team in Worthing, South Dakota. This internship provides hands-on experience in the field and at our facilities. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build practical skills and gain insight into how our business supports agriculture.
What you'll do#
- Assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to provide data to customers and our team.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Generate written reports and present findings to supervisors or customers.
- Learn the features and benefits of our agronomy products and services.
- Help with over-the-counter sales and product delivery.
- Learn to manage warehouse and agronomy plant operations.
- Use the Agris program for invoicing and inventory management.
- Maintain equipment and facilities while following all state, local, and company safety policies.
- Perform custom application tasks if qualified.
- Assist other departments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Agriculture experience or background knowledge.
- Previous internship experience.

- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
