    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on training in clinical mental health and substance abuse treatment. You will work with the IICAPS program, which serves children and adolescents aged 3 to 18 who are at risk of hospitalization. The goal is to stabilize youth and help them remain in their homes and communities.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide community-based clinical services.
    • Conduct case management and coordination for children and adolescents.
    • Develop strength-based comprehensive assessments and treatment plans.
    • Assist with outreach services, independent living skills, and medication monitoring.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in a mental health field, such as Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
    • A valid driver's license.
    • Previous experience in mental health treatment is helpful but not required.

    • Location: Manchester, Connecticut.
    • Schedule: 15-20 hours per week.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Status: Paid internship with rolling start dates.
