About the role#
The Commercial organization at ConocoPhillips manages the company’s global commodity marketing and trading portfolio. This internship provides exposure to energy markets and the ways our team generates value through marketing and trading. You will work directly with front office personnel and the Commercial management team to understand our business operations.
What you'll do#
- Complete an assigned project and present your findings at the end of the program.
- Work alongside experienced professionals in a commercial environment.
- Receive regular guidance and support from an assigned supervisor and mentor.
- Gain insight into how the Commercial organization contributes to the company value proposition.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without company sponsorship.
- Availability for a minimum of ten continuous weeks.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Houston, Texas.
- The internship is paid.
- Expected terms include Fall 2026, Winter 2027, Fall 2027, and Winter 2028.
