About the role#
The Information Technology internship at ConocoPhillips provides a summer assignment where you gain hands-on experience by contributing to real-world projects. You will work directly alongside subject matter experts in areas such as application development, artificial intelligence, cloud engineering, data analytics, IT security, and network engineering. The program includes orientation, teambuilding, and community service activities. You will receive coaching from supervisors and mentors throughout the term and showcase your accomplishments through a capstone presentation at the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with subject matter experts on technical projects.
- Participate in company orientation and team events.
- Engage with leadership and Employee Resource Groups.
- Present findings and project results at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Current college standing as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
- A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work on-site for at least 10 continuous weeks starting in mid-late May 2027.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

- Positions are located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, or Houston, Texas.
