About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will build web applications from the ground up and contribute to existing projects. You will work on both the front-end and back-end, helping to develop responsive single-page applications and scalable microservices. This role requires a willingness to follow best practices while collaborating with experienced developers and UX designers.
What you'll do#
- Write well-structured web applications using JavaScript libraries and frameworks like ReactJS, ReactNative, and Node.js.
- Collaborate with UX designers to build modular, reusable components.
- Assist in building a system of scalable microservices using Java and the Spring framework.
- Learn quickly to remain productive in a collaborative environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
- Experience developing web applications in Java, Ruby, or Python.
- Familiarity with web frameworks such as Spring, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, or Sinatra.
- Experience building single-page applications using any JavaScript framework.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for front-end development.
- Knowledge of client-side MVC frameworks, preferably ReactJS or ReactNative.
- Understanding of web standards, browser rendering behavior, and cross-browser compatibility.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
