About the role#
Copart is hiring a QA Engineering Intern to join the Test Automation Team at our Dallas headquarters. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role that runs on a rolling basis. You will work directly with our automation engineers to build and maintain testing frameworks while contributing to our overall quality processes.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Test Automation Team on daily tasks.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Execute test cases and analyze the results to identify issues.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Contribute ideas to improve existing testing processes.
What you'll need#
- Proven experience with TypeScript or Java.
- A firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design.
- A drive to write clean, efficient test automation code for UI and RESTful web services.
- Ability to translate user stories into test cases and scenarios.
- Understanding of TDD and BDD best practices.
- Familiarity with relational databases, specifically MariaDB.
- Knowledge of browser rendering behavior and front-end performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus points for experience with HTML, CSS, ReactJS, Playwright, or Python.
