    About the role#

    Corning Incorporated is seeking a Law Intern to join our legal team for the Summer 2026 program. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a corporate legal environment. You will work under the guidance of senior lawyers and participate in a mentoring program throughout your time here.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct legal research and draft documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
    • Attend client meetings, court proceedings, and various legal events.
    • Review and organize case files and manage legal documentation.
    • Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case management tasks.
    • Analyze legal issues and prepare summaries for review.
    • Assist in the preparation of legal opinions and advice.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited law school pursuing a JD degree.
    • Strong academic performance.
    • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
    • Proficiency with legal research software like Westlaw or LexisNexis.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
    • Term: 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-July).
    • Status: Full-time, paid internship.
    • Note: This position does not provide immigration sponsorship.
