    About the role#

    As a Process Engineering Intern, you will work under the supervision of a Process Engineer to support manufacturing improvements within the Environmental Technologies segment. You will focus on firing processes and their impact on product quality and production efficiency. At the end of the term, you will deliver a final project presentation.

    What you'll do#

    • Evaluate how various process variables affect end product attributes.
    • Identify specific incoming product attributes that influence firing process yield.
    • Support projects aimed at increasing manufacturing throughput through firing process innovation.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Engineering program, specifically Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
    • Graduation date of December 2026 or later.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
    • Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE) concepts.
    • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Painted Post, New York.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks, May through August).
    • Work Modality: On-site, full-time (40+ hours per week).
    • Compensation: This is a paid internship.
    • Note: This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
