About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the wholesale building materials industry. You will work on-site at quarries, mines, production facilities, and construction sites. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience at construction sites, quarries, mines, and production facilities.
- Analyze data, develop process strategies, and contribute to capital projects.
- Collaborate with teams to achieve shared goals.
- Create and present a capstone project to executive leadership.
- Learn regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Develop skills in scheduling, project profitability, accounts receivable, and billing.
- Support our safety culture in every aspect of your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited trade school, college, or university with good academic standing.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license (DL/CDL).
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
- Commitment to high standards and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
