    About the role#

    This is a part-time student teaching assistant position for the CS-225 course taught by Dmitri Volper during the Fall 2026 semester. The role runs from August 31 to December 4, 2026, with an expected commitment of 6 hours per week. You must be available during scheduled class times on Mondays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. This is a paid position, and you are responsible for tracking and reporting your own work hours.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the instructor in the classroom during lectures, labs, and quizzes.
    • Assist students with questions outside of scheduled class hours.
    • Grade quizzes and assignments.
    • Meet weekly with the instructor for feedback and duty updates.
    • Help with classroom equipment setup and operation.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
    • Good academic standing and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
    • Completion of CS-225 with a grade of B or better.
    • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, with the role requiring 80% sitting and 20% walking or standing.

    Location & details#

    • The position is based in Redmond, Washington. You must reside within the state of Washington to work in this role.
    • You cannot work during times when you have a scheduled class.
    • If you do not meet all specific requirements, you may still apply, as an academic waiver process is available for selected candidates.
