About the role#
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for DES-350-A Lab 1 during the Fall 2026 semester. You will work under the direction of Jo Cronk to support students in the classroom and through grading assignments. This is a part-time role requiring 5 to 10 hours per week. You must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology and reside within the State of Washington.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and upload results to Moodle.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their assignments.
- Assist students during in-person labs on campus.
- Meet with students online if requested.
- Attend at least one lab section in its entirety.
- Maintain consistency and clarity in all grading tasks.
What you'll need#
- Proven proficiency with C# and editor customization in Unity.
- A positive attitude toward learning and a desire to help others excel.
- Comfort interacting with other students as a mentor.
- Punctuality and the ability to remain focused during work hours.
- Completion of DES-350 with a grade of B or better.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and good academic standing.

- Location: Redmond, Washington.
- Term: August 31 to December 15, 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on previous terms worked at DigiPen.
