About the role#
This position supports the MAT-150 course instructed by Jack Hanson during the Fall 2026 term. You will assist students and help manage course administrative tasks. This role is open to current, matriculated students at DigiPen Institute of Technology who have successfully completed this course.
What you'll do#
- Grade student work and exams while maintaining consistency and clarity.
- Provide support to students during labs and scheduled office hours, including online sessions if required.
- Upload grades to Moodle.
- Deliver graded assignments and reports on time.
- Track and report your hours worked accurately.
What you'll need#
- Proven proficiency with the course material and successful completion of MAT-150.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and good academic standing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A reliable, punctual approach and a genuine interest in helping fellow students succeed.
- Comfort interacting with peers in a mentorship capacity.
Location & details#
- Location: Redmond, Washington. You must reside in Washington to perform this work.
- Term: August 31 to November 30, 2026.
- Hours: 5 to 10 hours per week.
- Pay: $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, based on your previous terms worked at the institution.
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit for 80% of the time, with some standing and walking. You may occasionally need to lift up to 25 lbs.
