About the role#
Entegris is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op for the Winter 2027 season. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment based at our Billerica, Massachusetts facility. You will support process engineers in the back-end of our filter manufacturing line by collecting and analyzing data to improve yield and reduce process variation.
What you'll do#
- Gather and summarize data to support or reject proposals for process changes.
- Review existing procedures to ensure they are accurate.
- Assess the safety and efficacy of manufacturing processes.
- Perform operator tasks to gain hands-on familiarity with process steps and controls.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an undergraduate student pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering, with an expected graduation between 2028 and 2029.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
- Ability to communicate project status, updates, and barriers effectively.
- Confidence in reaching out to engineers, technicians, and operators for input.
- Initiative to identify and take on additional tasks.
- Critical thinking skills to evaluate information based on objective data.
Location & details#
- Location: Billerica, Massachusetts.
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8a-5p.
- Environment: This role requires a mix of sitting and standing in a clean room environment.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift 30 pounds.
