About the role#
We are looking for a Material Quality Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Billerica, Massachusetts. This position runs for 6 months during the Winter 2027 term. You will support the production of liquid filtration products for the semiconductor industry by working directly with our Material Quality Engineering group.
What you'll do#
- Analyze supplier quality data and identify trends.
- Investigate the root causes of raw material issues.
- Carry out corrective actions for quality problems at our site and at supplier locations.
- Review quality documentation and product specifications.
- Maintain supplier scorecards and assist with MOC tracking.
- Prepare for audits and manage follow-up tasks.
- Work on projects to validate drawings and specifications.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects and improve supplier performance.
- Communicate technical information to suppliers in a clear and concise manner.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Completion of at least 3 years of post-high school education.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
