About the role#
We are looking for an NPI Engineering Co-Op to join our Chaska, Minnesota site for a six-month assignment starting in January 2027. This role focuses on the transfer of new products from development into manufacturing. You will help ensure successful product launches and production readiness by working across teams.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process records, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and production processes.
- Collaborate with Development, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to define products and scalable processes.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of Validation and Qualification activities for new products and equipment.
- Analyze process data and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Communicate project progress, results, and recommendations through meetings, presentations, and reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled student in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8a to 5p.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Self-driven approach with the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
- Prior internship or work experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
