About the role#
This Quality Co-Op position is based in Billerica, Massachusetts, for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site for a six-month duration, starting in January and ending in June. This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in quality initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, and product teams.
What you'll do#
- Support quality engineering activities by working with factory, product, and supply chain teams.
- Assist with data analysis, investigations into problems, and continuous improvement projects.
- Help with change management, product support, and quality documentation.
- Prepare reports, track key metrics, and maintain quality records.
- Participate in internal and customer audit activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business and customer objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Interest in manufacturing processes, quality systems, and customer-focused problem solving.
- Experience with data visualization, quality tools, or statistical analysis is a plus.
