About the role#
GBA is hiring an Architect Intern for a summer position in our Lenexa, Kansas office. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship. You will work alongside project architects and engineers on new and renovation projects. This role provides exposure to corporate offices, pharmaceutical clean rooms, R&D/QA labs, fleet maintenance, and industrial spaces.
What you'll do#
- Provide design support to project architects and other team members.
- Create and edit project-specific details.
- Assist with maintaining project files and meeting notes.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Architecture program, with a preference for students entering their junior year.
- Strong design capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
