About the role#
This co-op position supports the integration, verification, and validation of complex defence systems. You will gain hands-on experience with system testing, requirements analysis, and process improvement. You will work on mission-critical systems used in land operations, including platforms deployed across vehicles and headquarters.
What you'll do#
- Support system integration and testing activities in lab and simulated operational environments.
- Execute verification and validation tasks using established procedures.
- Review system requirements to confirm testability and maintain verification traceability.
- Troubleshoot and retest system defects to support reliable operation.
- Contribute to process improvements, test automation initiatives, and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with engineers, software developers, and multidisciplinary teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, or Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Must be enrolled at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Compensation: $23.08 - $32.41 per hour.
