About the role#
As a Student Dietary Associate, you will join the dietary team to help provide food service for patients, staff, and employees. This role is open to students and involves working on-site to assist with meal assembly and kitchen sanitation.
What you'll do#
- Prepare the assembly line station for patient supper tray service.
- Assemble food items based on marked menus.
- Transport food carts to and from patient floors.
- Collect and move garbage from the Dietary and Cafeteria areas.
- Scrape and wash dishware.
- Scrub and sanitize pots and pans, then organize them in their designated areas.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least sixteen years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand both written and oral communication.
- Prior experience is helpful but not required.
