About the role#
As a Traffic Intern at HDR, you will work within our Transportation Business Group. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to projects that shape how people and goods move. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to project tasks.
- Work under the direct supervision of a professional engineer or project manager.
- Gain real-world experience on various infrastructure projects.
- Connect with company leaders and recent graduates through our mentorship and young professional programs.
- Perform other duties as required to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program (Civil, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial).
- Completion of at least two years of your degree program is preferred, along with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Familiarity with software packages relevant to your field of study.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
