About the role#
This internship provides practical work experience in the food and beverage industry. You will work on-site at food and dairy customer facilities to provide chemical sanitation solutions. The role focuses on understanding customer needs to improve quality, efficiency, and profitability. You will work 40 hours per week from June through August 2027. This position requires flexibility to work off-shift hours and frequent overnight work.
What you'll do#
- Perform CIP validations at food and dairy customer facilities.
- Analyze wash cycles and provide recommendations for savings in time, cost, water, and chemicals.
- Assist in preparing written service and usage reports.
- Identify continuous profit improvement opportunities for customers.
- Complete timely analysis for assigned projects and tasks.
- Uphold company standards for quality and professional culture.
- Submit a final report summarizing your projects and learning objectives.
- Present your accomplishments to management at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree.
- Preferred majors include Food or Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Self-starter mindset with demonstrated leadership and presentation skills.
