About the role#
The Inter-American Development Bank is hiring an undergraduate student for a paid internship during Winter 2027. This role is based at our headquarters in Washington D.C. and provides experience in development work and corporate management. You will work on a full-time basis for two months.
What you'll do#
- Review reports of operations within the Technical Cooperation Monitoring System (TCM) to ensure data quality.
- Provide support to operational teams to help them use the TCM system effectively.
- Conduct data collection and analysis tasks.
- Review project information to ensure it is accurate and complete.
- Assist Fund Coordinators in preparing Annual and Semi-Annual reports for donors.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active undergraduate student in Economics, Public Policy, or Business Administration.
- Your graduation date must be after the internship period ends.
- You must have completed your second year of school at the time of application.
- Fluency in English is required, along with a working knowledge of one other Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese).
- You must be a national of an IDB member country.
- You cannot have any family members currently working at the IDB or IDB Invest.
- This must be your first time participating in an internship program at the IDB Group.

- This internship is located in Washington D.C., United States.
- The position is on-site and full-time (40 hours per week).
- The contract runs from January 16, 2027, to March 15, 2027.
