About the role#
The Inter-American Development Bank is hiring an undergraduate intern for the Winter 2027 program. This is a paid, full-time opportunity based at our headquarters. You will gain professional experience in corporate management and development work while supporting our onboarding and AI initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support AI initiatives by testing user workflows and validating data accuracy.
- Plan and execute networking activities for new hires, both in-person and virtually.
- Provide operational and logistical support for orientation sessions and onboarding events.
- Design and deliver training sessions for onboarding facilitators.
- Create and update orientation guides and reference materials for the new hire intranet.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active undergraduate student in Human Resources, communications, journalism, international relations, or social sciences.
- You must have completed your second year of school at the time of application.
- Your graduation date must be after the internship period.
- You must be a national of an IDB member country.
- Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese is a plus.
- This must be your first time participating in an IDB Group internship program.

- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 16th to March 15th, 2027).
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
