    About the role#

    The International Rescue Committee in Atlanta is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides operational support to the Georgia and Florida offices. You will work directly with the Operations team to assist with inventory and fleet management. This is an unpaid, on-site internship.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage the stock room by checking out IRC staff and clients during shopping visits.
    • Perform physical inventory counts and enter data into Excel.
    • Organize and label donated household items.
    • Load and unload donated goods for donors and clients.
    • Complete weekly vehicle inspections using a checklist.
    • Transport donated items as needed using an IRC or personal insured vehicle.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in or recent completion of studies in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
    • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to manage your time and communicate professionally with stakeholders.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
    • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
    • Ability to commit to 12 hours per week for at least 3 consecutive months.
    • Must pass a background check.
