About the role#
The Ivy Academy Student Support Assistant acts as the primary point of contact for high school students in the Ivy Academy dual-enrollment program. You will work under the direction of the ASAP Coordinator to foster a welcoming environment and help students navigate their transition into the college setting. This is a part-time, on-site role based in South Bend, Indiana.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the main contact for students during cohort hours.
- Build positive relationships and create an inclusive space for diverse student populations.
- Help students navigate campus resources and support services.
- Monitor student engagement, participation, and general well-being.
- Assist with the planning and facilitation of workshops, career exploration opportunities, and student events.
- Support program operations, including student onboarding, record keeping, and tracking participation.
- Assist with recruitment events, campus tours, and outreach to prospective families.
What you'll need#
- An associate degree is required.
- Experience working with high school students or in educational settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour.
- Preferred Majors: Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Public Health, or Political Science.
