About the role#
The Digital Asset Management Administrator Intern supports the organization and governance of digital assets across Packaging Graphics, Marketing, and Corporate teams. This position is for students interested in metadata, taxonomy, controlled vocabularies, and digital asset workflows. You will help ensure files are easy to find, accurately described, and aligned with internal standards. This role also provides exposure to packaging graphics workflows and creative operations.
What you'll do#
- Upload, classify, review, and maintain digital assets.
- Gain hands-on experience with DAM administration, metadata management, and information governance.
- Build practical knowledge of packaging graphics workflows and cross-functional creative operations.
- Learn how digital assets support brand consistency, speed to market, compliance, and team efficiency.
- Participate in organized activities for networking and learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Science Librarianship, Library Science, or Information Science.
- Junior or senior status is preferred.
- A 3.5 minimum GPA is strongly preferred.
- Prior work experience is preferred.
- Strong interest in metadata, taxonomy, classification, searchability, and information architecture.
- Detail-oriented approach with high accuracy when reviewing asset information.
- Ability to collaborate with creative, marketing, corporate, and packaging stakeholders.
- Capacity to follow standards, ask thoughtful questions, and identify inconsistencies.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
