About the role#
This nine-week summer internship introduces you to the Financial Advisor Development Program. You will gain experience in wealth management, focusing on tasks that add value to clients and the business. The program includes training to enhance your business acumen and professional skills. You will work with a team, including mentors and program managers, to support your development. Successful completion may lead to a full-time offer in the Financial Advisor Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of working with clients in a service-oriented role.
- Study the foundations of investment products through industry training.
- Prepare for and take the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
- Engage in group projects and job shadowing opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A well-rounded academic background in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Motivation to provide client service and pass the FINRA SIE exam.
- Ability to build relationships over the phone and in person.
- Capability to work well in a collaborative environment and independently.
- Preferred graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028 with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
