About the role#
As an Integration/Test Engineering Intern, you will work on-site at our Carlsbad, California facility. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will support the configuration and testing of hardware and software systems while gaining experience in systems acceptance and failure analysis.
What you'll do#
- Set up and configure hardware and software systems, including loading software onto multiple devices.
- Design and implement procedures to test and troubleshoot components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
- Draft test plans, procedures, and reports while ensuring requirements traceability.
- Document testing failures and analyze results to support failure investigation activities.
- Participate in failure review board meetings.
- Present test strategies and findings to internal and external customers.
- Assist with formal systems acceptance testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Knowledge of communications systems, networks, and network security.
- Familiarity with software programming languages and scripting.
- Understanding of automated software testing frameworks and applications.
- Experience or knowledge in power systems, antennas, RF, and mechanical design.
- Ability to perform requirements analysis and verification.

- Schedule: 9/80 schedule (80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off).
