About the role#
As an Integration/Test Engineering Intern, you will assist with the configuration and documentation of hardware and software systems. You will work on testing procedures and help ensure systems meet project requirements. This role involves documenting failures, performing data analysis, and participating in failure review board meetings.
What you'll do#
- Configure hardware and software systems and load software onto devices.
- Design and implement procedures to test and troubleshoot components and assemblies.
- Write test plans, procedures, and reports while maintaining requirements traceability.
- Document testing issues and analyze the resulting data.
- Support formal systems acceptance testing.
- Present test strategies and results to internal and external customers.
- Participate in failure investigation activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, and automated software testing.
- Familiarity with networks, network security, power systems, antennas, and RF.
- Experience with mechanical design and analysis.
- Proficiency in requirements analysis, software scripting, and automated testing frameworks.
Location & details#
- Location: Melbourne, Florida.
- Work schedule: 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
- This is a paid, on-site, full-time internship.
