About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Program Management Intern to support our team in Lynchburg. This role offers hands-on experience in program management within the national security and space sector. You will work on-site and participate in the 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with staff to finalize project plan presentations and set timelines or deadlines.
- Schedule meetings and prepare supporting materials.
- Organize and track project documentation.
- Participate in program meetings.
- Process staff expense reports and resolve related issues.
- Assist with special projects and tasks across functional areas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and Power Point.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management and Government FARs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence and the ability to work as a self-starter.
- Willingness to learn new tools and take on additional responsibilities over time.
