About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Systems Engineering Intern to work on-site in Rochester, New York. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date. The schedule follows a 9/80 format, meaning you work 80 hours over nine days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations documents.
- Develop system implementation plans and design architectures.
- Analyze requirements from end users and systems.
- Create test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Execute tests and document the findings.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware troubleshooting techniques.
- Present design activity plans and project status to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Aerospace, or related engineering fields, as well as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Aviation.
- Coursework or experience in systems architecture, systems analysis and design, performance modeling, integration, or project management.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.

- Compensation: $28.50 - $41.00 per hour.
