About the role#
We are looking for a Systems Engineering Intern to join our team in Clifton, New Jersey. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work on-site and follow a 9/80 schedule, which means you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
- Analyze system requirements from end users and systems.
- Support the development and evaluation of complex system architectures and designs.
- Write test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Conduct tests and document your results.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware using various tools and scripting.
- Present design activity plans and status updates to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration, or project management.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
