About the role#
This co-op program provides hands-on experience in a technical sales environment. You will work alongside regional sales representatives to engage with customers and support the full sales cycle. This position is designed to bridge your academic studies with practical work in industrial machinery and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Visit end users and distributors to identify opportunities, evaluate specific applications, and suggest technical solutions.
- Lead 2-3 key sales projects that provide value to our customers and the sales organization.
- Use CRM tools to manage opportunities, handle quoting, and develop sales strategies.
- Perform hands-on welding demonstrations for customers.
- Update customers on new product releases.
- Participate in distributor open houses and training events.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit or completion of a bachelor degree in a STEM or Business field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Sophomore status or higher with a minimum overall GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
- Interest in sales, field service, and customer support.
- Willingness to travel for training and field visits.
