About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Toronto. You will work alongside engineers on real products, with the autonomy to manage your own project from the start. We prioritize in-office collaboration to support our team culture.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of your project while checking in with team members for updates and questions.
- Improve code quality through progressive refactoring.
- Ensure system reliability by writing tests.
- Participate in code reviews to share knowledge and maintain standards.
- Manage continuous integration and deployment tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field at a Canadian university.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Less than 2 years of full-time work experience if you are a master's student who worked between programs.
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with databases, SQL, and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in large-scale data problems and a passion for community, sustainability, or transportation.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week in the office (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
- Pay: CAD $40 - CAD $45 per hour.
