About the role#
This Accounting Co-op position is based in Toronto for the Winter 2027 term. It is a full-time, paid opportunity designed for students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. The role provides hands-on experience and serves as a potential pathway to the CPA Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Support and handle reporting tasks while managing monthly and quarterly deliverables.
- Prepare monthly reports and perform analysis related to your specific job functions.
- Assist with month-end production work, including journal entries, budgets, and adjustments.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Lead efforts to improve existing reporting processes.
- Investigate financial ledgers and statements using various software tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Business or Accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Knowledge of Access and Visual Basic.
- Exceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
