About the role#
The Affiliated Distribution Intern position is a paid summer 2027 opportunity based in Montpelier, Vermont. This role is part of a 10-week program designed to provide undergraduate students with hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will work within the Affiliated Distribution channel, supporting various projects and programs while building professional relationships across the company.
What you'll do#
- Collect and assess learning evaluation results and tracking metrics.
- Support the development of internal marketing and communication plans.
- Assist Key Account Managers with agents sales activities.
- Conduct business analytics and industry research to support decision-making.
- Assist with market research on new target markets.
- Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.00.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- An inquisitive mindset and the ability to manage competing demands.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position located in Montpelier, Vermont.
- You will be expected to work onsite four days per week, typically Monday through Thursday.
- This is a full-time summer internship.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
