About the role#
This internship offers the chance to contribute to high-priority business initiatives aligned with Nike's strategic roadmap. You will take ownership of a project scoped to drive impact while working under the guidance of senior leaders and managers. This is a 10-week paid opportunity designed to challenge your critical thinking and foster collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Support on-demand footwear customization and manufacturing capabilities.
- Use data, technology, and AI-driven insights to improve manufacturing responsiveness, operational efficiency, and consumer customization.
- Analyze supplier capabilities, manufacturing networks, and sourcing opportunities across footwear, apparel, and materials.
- Apply data and AI-driven insights to strengthen supply chain resilience and support sourcing decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product quality, compliance, and consumer experience risks.
- Conduct data analysis, risk assessments, and root cause investigations to support continuous improvement.
- Develop tools, metrics, and AI-enabled insights to enhance supply chain visibility and product movement.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an MBA or Master’s degree program in Engineering Management, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- 3-5 years of work experience is strongly preferred.
- Background in operations, logistics, manufacturing, or international trade.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, Excel, or Power BI.
- Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or predictive analytics.
- Strong project management skills and an enterprise mindset.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
