About the role#
Oncor Electric Delivery partners with the Department of Defense SkillBridge program to offer internships for veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. This role provides training and work experience across multiple functional areas of the utility industry. It is designed to prepare participants for future growth within the company.
What you'll do#
You will join a team that performs maintenance and construction activities for the largest electric utility in Texas. You will learn to work on key assets including high voltage transformers, circuit breakers, and transmission lines. The work centers on a culture of safety, operational discipline, and performance.
What you'll need#
This position is open to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
