About the role#
The Department of Economics at Pace University is hiring a student research assistant to support faculty research initiatives and various departmental projects. This role involves working directly with department members to assist with economic research tasks. You will work on-site in New York.
What you'll do#
- Summarize academic articles assigned by faculty.
- Collect data, literature, and other information for research projects.
- Run regressions and statistical models using R or Stata.
- Assist with additional departmental projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of R, Stata, or Python.
- Strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

- Schedule: Flexible hours between Monday and Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
