    About the role#

    Student Government Association (SGA) Leaders serve the Pace University community by representing the student body and managing organizational operations. This role is for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid position, and stipends are processed at the end of each semester following an evaluation of duties.

    What you'll do#

    • Meet once per week during the fall and spring semesters.
    • Provide weekly updates at each SGA General Meeting.
    • Coordinate the activities of all standing and ad-hoc committees.
    • Appoint members to the SGA Assembly through a majority vote.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling student and university information.
    • Participate in the planning and execution of all SGA events.

    What you'll need#

    • Must be a current student at Pace University.
    • Preferred majors include Political Science, Business Administration, Communications, Public Health, or Sociology.
    • Fulfill at least three office hours per week in the SGA office.
    • Attend all monthly E-board meetings and E-board retreats.
    • Attend all Student Organization meetings, unless excused by the Student Engagement Advisor.
    • Notify the Executive Board and Student Engagement Advisor of any absences at least 24 hours in advance.

    Location & details#

    • Location: New York, New York.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: No more than 20 hours per week when school is in session, and up to 35 hours per week during breaks. Exact hours are determined with your supervisor.
