About the role#
This position supports two research projects focused on the effects of AI on business law and college readiness in high school seniors. You will work directly with a professor to gather data and document findings. This is a paid, part-time role for undergraduate students.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with your professor to receive assignments.
- Gather data and compile research findings.
- Write research memos.
- Explore how AI influences business law, such as contracting and intellectual property.
- Examine factors related to college readiness for high school seniors.
- Work independently to complete tasks between weekly meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student status.
- Mandatory Work Study eligibility.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to manage tasks and work independently.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, History, or English.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
- Schedule: 5 to 8 hours per week, arranged with your supervisor.
