About the role#
This internship offers direct experience in the data center industry. You will work on initiatives tied to real company objectives, covering the lifecycle of data center builds and operations. You will be immersed in the commissioning and decommissioning of active data center sites.
What you'll do#
- Assist with engineering aspects of site startup and commissioning projects.
- Participate in the design, configuration, and commissioning of facilities.
- Support engineering improvements and automation projects using tools like Revit, CAD, and DCIM software.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and project reports.
- Help develop project plans, monitor progress, and identify potential delays.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis and budgeting and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be a US Citizen.
