About the role#
Ryan Companies is looking for a Project Engineer Intern for our Mission Critical team in Atlanta. This is a paid, full-time position available for terms in Summer, Winter, or Fall 2027. You will work on-site to support our project teams while learning about our business policies and construction procedures.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team with the completion of designated projects.
- Gain experience with budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination.
- Learn the fundamentals of scheduling, quality control, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a closely related field.
- Must be within 18 months of graduation.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a term of at least three months.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications, and architectural or engineering drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
