About the role#
The Corporate Development team supports the growth of the business by identifying and evaluating commercial opportunities. You will gain experience assisting with research, analysis, and project support, contributing to initiatives from idea generation through to implementation. You will work alongside professionals in operations, engineering, finance, and commercial teams.
What you'll do#
- Support research and analysis of oilfield activity, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Assist with financial modelling, valuation, and return analysis.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Participate in data gathering, regulatory research, and project documentation.
- Help with stakeholder and customer support activities.
- Support ad-hoc corporate development projects.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Environmental).
- You must be returning to studies after the work term.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- High level of organization and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, curious mindset.
- Knowledge of financial modelling is an asset.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in the Brookfield office in Calgary, Alberta.
- Available terms include Summer 2027, Fall 2027, Winter 2028, and Spring 2028.
