About the role#
As a Measurement Intern, you will join our Measurement & Quality team to gain hands-on experience with data analysis and regulatory compliance in the energy sector. This 12 to 16 month position is for students who enjoy working with data and want to understand how it supports operational decisions. You will work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative office environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and interpret reports from measurement and compliance software platforms.
- Manage and organize compliance data and reporting activities.
- Use the IMEC Core software platform for data capture and reporting.
- Compile and review compliance documentation and records.
- Identify and follow up on data discrepancies.
- Build, review, and analyze spreadsheets to identify trends.
- Collaborate with the Measurement & Quality team and various stakeholders.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary undergraduate program in Engineering, Instrumentation, Finance, Business, or a related technical discipline.
- Registration in a recognized co-op or internship program through an accredited institution.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and the ability to analyze data.
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort learning new software, systems, and processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A professional approach to team priorities.
